Showcasing three emerging artists from the Gold Coast, the Grounded Exhibition drew to a close this month. The exhibition which commenced on 01st November came to an end on 04th December 2019 and was held at the Level Up studio + gallery close to Oaks Calypso Plaza; the venue is a community arts space that is part of The Strand which offers shopping, dining and entertainment within easy reach of Coolangatta resort and hotel options.
The Grounded Exhibition featured works from Emily Rose (pyrographer), Ellythea Wahlstrom (photographer) and Rebecca Hardy (painter). While these unique creations used diverse mediums, the artists expressed similar themes and ideologies and were in keeping with their passion for raising awareness on aspects such as animal and environmental conservation. The prints and artworks that were on display were available to be purchased as well.
