The IRONMAN Challenge Returns to Phuket – An Exhilarating Challenge

A spectacular tropical vacation destination, Phuket recently welcomed more than 1,500 competitors from about 60 countries for the Foremost IRONMAN 70.3 challenge on 26th November 2017. A famous swim-bike-run challenge attended by many, the IRONMAN event is staged over 50 countries annually and includes the IRONMAN World Championship and IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship on a yearly basis. Those who were on vacation in a resort or a Phuket luxury hotel including options such as Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, had the incredible opportunity to join cheering spectators. Founded in 1978, the triathlon brand IRONMAN is renowned all over the world for offering one of the most incredible experiences. Held in the Bang Tao Beach in Phuket, the event attracted many enthusiastic and adventurous participants including up to 300 youngsters for the Foremost IRONKIDS Thailand.
