The King’s Cup Elephant Boat Race & River Festival Dates Announced For 2020

Following the success of this year’s inaugural event, the dates for the next edition of the King’s Cup Elephant Boat Race & River Festival were recently announced. In a September press release by the organisers, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, the dates for the 2020 festival were confirmed as being from 28th February to 1st March. It will take place beside Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort on the Chao Phraya River and will again look to raise funds for GTAEF (Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation).

Those who attend the event beside this Riverside Bangkok hotel can look forward to witnessing teams racing on specially decorated and designed boats; this year’s race was won by the Royal Thai Navy Seals who will be defending their title next year. Apart from the race, there will be a number of fun activities and entertainment for the whole family as well.
