The Liberal Arts International Conference 2019 Set to Begin – A Collaborative Approach

An event that brings together those involved in the fields of liberal arts education, the Liberal Arts International Conference (LAIC) 2019 will commence this month. The conference will take place from 23rd to 25th March at the University of Texas A&M at Qatar; the venue is within easy reach of the best hotels in Doha, Qatar including the likes of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli. This year will mark the seventh edition of LAIC, while “Liberal Arts in the Global Age: Changing Winds and Shifting Sands” will be the theme.

The Liberal Arts International Conference is expected to draw scholars, graduate students and others connected with this field, providing a space where they can share ideas, challenges and areas for collaboration and development. Multilingual and Multicultural Education, Language Policy and Planning, Cultural Anthropology and Comparative Political Theory are amongst the conference subthemes that will be focused on.
