The Lost City of Khmer Empire Found in Cambodia

With the help of jungle-penetrating laser done in the dense jungles of Cambodia’s Phnom Kulen Mountains, archaeologists in Cambodia have been able to confirm the location and the layout of Mahendraparvata- an ancient capital city belonging to the Khmer Empire.

As there will be a lot to explore in this area including the shrines, mounds, palaces, and temples which belong to this ancient capital, the place will surely be a great tourist attraction no sooner and among the ones who majorly benefit with this discovery are the travel agents, and the hotels in Siem Reap, Cambodia. However, even as per the current state, the area is a highly tourist-friendly destination with the presence of properties the likes of FCC Angkor Siem Reap that provide travellers with world-class dining and accommodation options.
