Underlining its popularity as a holiday destination, the Maldives was listed by Forbes Magazine as one of “The Top 20 Destinations For 2020”. The list was curated by editors of the Forbes Travel Guide and featured some of the top destinations in the world. It should be noted that “The Trendiest Destinations Of 2019, According To Google” published by Forbes Magazine also mentioned the Maldives. Island resorts continue to be a popular draw here and properties the likes of Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives offer a wealth of experiences for tourists.

As highlighted in “The Top 20 Destinations For 2020”, there were other key places for travellers to head to this year. Apart from the Maldives, the list also included Cape Town (South Africa), Las Vegas (America), Tel Aviv (Israel), Okinawa (Japan), Dubai (UAE), Rome (Italy), Bangkok (Thailand) and Edinburgh (Scotland).
