The Maldives Continues to Offer Tourists Easy Entry – Special Promotions Also Launched

Amongst the first countries to reopen its borders to tourists during the pandemic, the Maldives is continuing its remarkable recovery. This popular Indian Ocean nation offers quarantine-free entry to all travellers minus the need for any COVID-19 tests or vaccination certificates. Apart from easy entry, it also features safe accommodation at properties like Kuramathi Maldives for those looking to experience getaways on a private island resort; Maldives holidays have been drawing families, friends and couples alike which can be seen in the increasing arrival numbers.

To further boost the destination, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation also launched a special promotional campaign in June this year targeting the Southeast Asian market; running up to August 2022, this advertising campaign is being done in partnership with award-winning DestinAsian, a well-known magazine that focuses on regions in Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific.
