The Maldives is developing – The journey of the Maldives

In the 1970s the Maldives was not known by many, and it was a destination in the world with poor tourism infrastructure. But, everything changed when the country decided to be dependent on the travel and tourism sector. This destination was naturally gifted with pristine beaches, and mind-blowing vistas, so it had almost everything that could attract travellers from all over the world.

Every luxury resort in Maldives the likes of Heritance Aarah Maldives tries to offer differentiated services and special offers to travellers. From 2018 to 2021, nearly 50 resorts had begun their operations in the Maldives and this shows how significant the Maldives is as a global tourist destination. Although the COVID 19 pandemic hit the Maldivian travel and tourism sector badly, this destination is coming up with novel solutions day by day to beat all the challenges and barriers.
