The Maldives Once Again Named as the Indian Ocean’s Best Spa Destination

At the recently concluded World Spa Awards 2019, the Maldives was once again crowned as the Indian Ocean’s Best Spa Destination. This achievement was truly remarkable since it was the fifth consecutive time that the country has been awarded this title which it has won since the inception of the World Spa Awards. The other countries that were nominated in this category were Seychelles, Madagascar and Mauritius.

The awards ceremony took place in Dubai on 21st October 2019 and Dr Hussain Niyaz, the Maldivian Ambassador to the UAE, accepted the award on behalf of his country.
