The Maldives to revive travel with vaccine tourism – The No.01 tropical destination is back on track!

The Maldives has declared that it will consider launching ‘Vaccine Tourism’ once every individual in its native population is covered with both doses of the vaccination program. The local vaccination program is taking place at a rapid pace, and front-line workers in the travel and tourism sector and health sector have already been vaccinated.

This vaccine tourism is also called the ‘3V’ tourism which implies that it covers all three V’s of Visit, Vaccinate, and Vacation. Once this strategy is implemented, all Maldives luxury resorts the likes of Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences will likely get more guests arriving from all around the world. Many other countries including Russia, the USA, and the UAE have also declared that they would go for ‘Vaccine Tourism’ soon when the local population is fully covered through the vaccination campaign.
