According to recent reports by online news site The Edition, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has planned around 21 promotional events during the second half of 2019. These include roadshows which are a valuable component in showcasing what the island nation has to offer visitors from abroad; this encompasses the chance to stay at a Maldives luxury hotel or resort such as Naladhu Private Island Maldives as well as enjoy the many water sports on offer.

Switzerland, USA, China, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea and Japan are amongst the countries where such roadshows will be held. These promotional activities by the MMPRC will no doubt continue to open up the country to diverse travellers from around the world and lead to an increase in tourist arrivals as well.
