The Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo – An Exciting Event!
The Mount Isa Mines Rodeo event which star commenced on the 8th of August this year successfully concluded extending for four days on the 12th. The Rodeo event of Mount Isa Mines is not just an ordinary rodeo event! The legendary event which first started in the year of 1959 still continues to host the same set of exciting events which includes bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback bronc, rope & tie, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping and so much more. This year’s event marked the 60th anniversary of the Rodeo and features some added events such as music shows to entertain the new generation of Rodeo enthusiasts. The event being a major attraction for tourists also attracted visitors who were stationed at Ipswich hotel properties the likes of Oaks Aspire Apartments and many others to the event.
