In keeping with its ongoing initiative, the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (MOMAT) will continue to host free admission days in 2020, on the first Sunday of each month. Accordingly, this museum which is within easy reach of Somerset Ginza East Tokyo will open its doors free to the public on 5th January 2020. Those staying at close by Tokyo serviced apartments can plan a visit to this well-known attraction which features an amazing array of exhibits spanning from the early 20th century to the present day.
The impressive collection at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo showcases creations from Japan and the West and encompasses not only paintings but sculptures, watercolours, photographs, drawings and even videos. Apart from the main building, the museum also consists of the Crafts Gallery which can be found in Kitanomaru Park.
