The Old Batavia Cultural Festival 2014 at Kota Tua, Jakarta

The Old Batavia cultural festival is scheduled to be held on the 8th and 9th November 2014. This event is organized by the office of Tourism and Culture of Jakarta. An array of folk entertainment and traditional performances will be presented at the festival. The event will take place at the Fatahilah Square of the Fatahilah Museum and was opened by the Acting Governor of Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.

Various entertainment items such as the traditional Gambang Kromong musical ensemble, the martial art of Pencak Silat, and the folk drama of Lenong were performed at the festival.
