After facing cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) is excited to announce the return of its annual conference, Evolve. This year’s event, themed “Lead with Impact. Empower to Grow. Connect for Success,” will be held in the picturesque NSW Hunter Valley, symbolically marking a new chapter for the industry after the challenges of the past few years.
Notably, this marks the first time since 2003 that the conference will be held in the region, highlighting its significance and offering a chance for industry newcomers to experience this long-awaited return. MEA CEO Peter McDonald expresses gratitude to Rydges Resort Hunter Valley and Destination NSW for their partnership in supporting the regional event community by hosting this major event. Anita McInnes, representing the host venue, shares the excitement of showcasing their facilities and welcoming industry professionals to a setting conducive to learning and connection. Registration for Evolve 2024 opened in early February, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks. This marks a positive step forward for the events industry as it reunites, learns, and grows together. Visitors to the event can experience the famous wellness retreats in Australia that Hunter Valley is known for, at properties like Elysia Wellness Retreat, killing two birds with one stone.
