The Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience- A charity event dedicated to raise funds for the UN’s World Food Programme

The charity gala that raised funds for the World Food Programme was held recently at the Dubai Mall. The 2nd edition of the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience kicked off on the 30th of October and continued for three days. The gala that raised almost AED 4 million was organized by Vogue Italia along with Emaar and was held under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, the UN Messenger for Peace and Chairperson of International Humanitarian City, the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Also in attendance were popular celebrities such as Roberto Cavalli, Janet Jackson, Latifa and Farida Khelfa. The event helped to place the desert city as the world’s leading fashion destination.
