The Zambezi Whitewater Festival – A unique annual celebration

An annual celebration of whitewater rafting, the Zambezi Whitewater Festival is a gathering of enthusiasts for world-class rafting trips, an activity that spans over two days of competition throughout the Livingstone area of the River Zambezi, filled to the brim with time-based activities and large amounts of water. It’s also accompanied by live entertainment, craft stalls, and lots of food and drink if you didn’t manage to grab a bite from such nearby hotels as the Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara.

Other than that, many hotels in Livingstone, Zambia are quite close to the Zambezi, making any visits to this particular event to be particularly convenient for travellers from across the globe. The two days of competition (not including the first day of arrival) will span a race from Rapids 1 to 21, as well as Surf n Turf competitions and kayak slalom races.
