Theme Resorts & Spas Lauches a New Hotel ‘Kithala Resort’

Theme Resorts & Spas recently added to its portfolio of Sri Lanka resorts by recently launching the newly established Kithala Resort in Sri Lanka’s Deep South. The resort is conveniently located between two main wildlife and cultural hotspots on the island, Yala National Park and Katharagama respectively. Set amidst scenic paddy fields, the resort gets its name from the Sinhalese term for the Purple Coot bird which is among the many bird species that can be spotted here, making it an excellent getaway for bird watching enthusiasts as well. Formerly known as the Priyankara Hotel, Kithala Resort has been refurbished and features 40 rooms with balconies that offer views of the nearby paddy fields.
