It’s a well-known fact that there is much competition between countries to becoming bigger and better economies. China in no way is different when it comes to getting ahead of the race. With its massive population, the country’s biggest competition lies with other economies like the USA, Britain, Japan, France and Germany. While China seems ever-confident to beat all other economies, its competition starts within its borders itself. Each of China’s many provinces competes against each other to reach the top.
Whilst Shanghai was the leader in all such competition, the capital of fast growing Guizhou province Guiyang has been ranked number one by the Milken Institute. This ranking indicates a big climb for the city of Guiyang which was ranked 11th last year. While many factors have contributed to its rise to the strongest city within China in terms of economy, it is believed that the tourism its draws through the many upscale hotels in Guiyang like such well known names as Anantara Guiyang Resort have contributed significantly.
