Top Destinations this Summer for Singaporeans Revealed
London Comes Out on Top
On 23rd May 2022, the Travel Daily Media website revealed the favourite destinations that Singaporeans wanted to visit for the summer; the results were based on Tripadvisor site data which focused on factors like what travellers from Singapore were searching for holidays during the months of the mid-year school break.
As per the findings, the top city that Singaporeans were looking to travel to between June and August 2022 was London, in the UK, while other destinations on the list included Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Melbourne, Australia; such cities are also home to key luxury hotel chains including reputed brands like Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts. The French capital, Paris, and the Thai capital, Bangkok, also made the list which showcased the eagerness for international travel. This was reiterated by the Tripadvisor findings which revealed that around 58% of Singaporeans were planning an overseas trip.
