The epic cycling race, the Tour De Bintan, will make its return toBintan Island this year, taking place over the course of three days from March 27th to 29th – and as it celebrates its 10thanniversary in 2020, Asia’s premier cycling event is set to bigger and better than ever before. The key to all the fanfare and excitement associated with the event is its location – there’s plenty of things to do in Bintan and the island is stunningly beautiful. Located just a short ferry ride away from Singapore, the island is blessed with lush forests, pristine coastlines, and charming villages, and the Tour De Bintan track will run through all of these.
The participants are also vital to the event’s publicity, and just last year it broke its own record for a number of contestants, with 1,100 cyclists last year. If you’re planning to head to Bintan to either watch or take part in yourself, be sure to get your accommodations sorted.
