Tourism Gradually Recovers in the Ancient Capital of Xi’an

Rising from the Ashes

In parallel to the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, China’s tourism industry continues to gradually improve, particularly in its ancient capital of Xi’an. On July 19th this year, a press conference was held to announce the continuation of tourism in the ancient capital. To effectively meet the attempts in progress to prevent and control the pandemic, several other steps including limiting tourist flows are now in place; all scenic spots in the city and many Xi ‘ An hotels offered by popular chains such as Park Hotel Group follow these procedures to ensure the safety of travellers.

With immediate effect, many travel agencies based in Xi’an resumed their operations by offering group tours to their potential customers. In addition, Xi’an also launched tourism benefits like offering free of charge entrance for more than eighty percent of museums in the city.
