Tourism Malaysia recently hosted two batches of travel trade partners, with 17 travel agents from Iran and the UAE participating in 6D 5N familiarisation trips (FAM Trips). These trips aimed to offer first-hand experiences of Malaysia’s vibrant cities and attractions while enhancing product knowledge about the country’s natural wonders for their respective markets.
The first group from Iran, in collaboration with Air Arabia, explored Kuala Lumpur’s iconic landmarks, including KLCC, KL Tower, Merdeka Square, and Batu Caves. The second batch, consisting of nine travel agents from the UAE, went on a similar adventure, including thrilling water sports at Port Dickson, sightseeing in Kuala Lumpur, and experiencing the newly opened Genting Skyworlds and Sunway Lagoon. Further discussions of the trips will most likely be held at an event space in KL, with properties such as PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur being locations of note for such functions.
