In a bid to boost regional tourism and spending, Japan is going to target ultra-rich travellers looking to splurge on unique services and experiences. This includes providing convenient docking options for private superyachts at lesser-known destinations and an app called Airc for on-demand helicopter rides to quickly access various locations in the country. In further development, a platform is also being developed by Blank Marketing & Management that will provide an interactive chat system where tourists can book their accommodation as well as activities and restaurant reservations.
These initiatives are seen as key to providing an added incentive for such tourists to travel to areas beyond cities such as the capital, Tokyo. One such enchanting place to visit would be Otaru home to luxury hotels in Hokkaido, Japan which feature superior comforts and facilities. These include properties like Grand Park Otaru that provide an ideal getaway for the best experience amidst views of the mountains and Ishikari Bay.
