Tourism takes off during Five-Year Plan – It’s a success story!

According to the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC), this region has achieved enormous development during the past couple of years. This development can specifically be seen in the travel and tourism sector which followed the Five-Tear Plan from 2016 to 2020. The total revenue from the industry hit 60 billion Yuan during this period.

Global hotel chains such as Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas established their properties in this region during the past 5 year’s period, almost all these suites and villas matched the international star-rated property standards. The XPCC also could administer the natural beauty and Xinjiang’s diverse specialties in a way that the tourism industry gets the maximum benefit out of them. The XPCC plans to finish the tourism big data center project soon and then work on the online tourism monitoring platform in the future.
