Qatar updated its entry policy providing fully vaccinated travellers with a chance to visit without needing to quarantine. This came into effect from 12th July 2021 and featured the option for travellers including GCC residents to apply for a family, tourist or work visa. Once in the country, they could stay at some of the best hotels in Doha including properties of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli to experience Qatar’s many attractions.
To avoid mandatory quarantine on entry, travellers must show proof of having received the full dose of a COVID-19 vaccination recognised by the Ministry of Public Health; these are namely the vaccines of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson (only one dose). There are also additional conditions when travelling with unvaccinated children depending on if one’s country is categorised in Qatar’s Green, Yellow or Red list of nations. Since entry policies are subject to change, always check the official government site before visiting: https://covid19.moph.gov.qa/EN/Pages/default.aspx
