Tourist Entry to Cambodia is Smoother and Simpler

Tourists who arrive in FCC Angkor by Avani or any other hotels in Siem Reap Cambodia will no longer be required to carry a large sum of cash, in order to enter into the country. Although travellers were required to show 1,000-2,000 Dollars upon entry, by certain airlines, they can now enter the country freely, as reported on Express International on the 23rd of December 2022.

Other steps taken by Cambodia to encourage tourism include eliminating the requirement of immunisation cards and rapid antigen tests. Therefore, the only documents that tourists will be required to carry with them now would be the visa application and a completed customs certificate, making the entry process much simpler for tourists, and the hopes of reaching higher arrivals for the country more realistic, as they step into a post-pandemic era.
