Tourist Sites in Oman Reopened Following Unforeseeable Weather Conditions

Due to unforeseeable weather conditions, many tourist sites in Oman were forced to be closed down, following an announcement made by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), which was an adverse outcome for tourists at hotels like Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara who longed to explore the beautiful country. However, a later announcement made by the authorities on the 14th of July 2022 on reopening tourist sites was positive news for Salalah meeting venues, hotels and resorts, as guests were once again free to explore the streets of Oman.

However, Mughsail Beach remained closed as national efforts to search for missing persons continued. Following the statement, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) also emphasised the importance of ensuring one’s safety during such extreme weather conditions, especially in keeping an eye on children and minors who require additional care, by following the provided safety guidelines to all.
