Travel Advisory Updated for Antigua & Barbuda
Maintaining Safety Protocols
On 8th December 2020, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda updated its travel advisory continuing to make sure residents and inbound travellers remain safe. The country reopened for visitors in June last year giving those signed up with airline loyalty programs from regional airlines such as interCaribbean Airways, a chance to visit this popular Caribbean destination.
As part of the updated travel advisory, all those arriving in the country need to have a negative COVID-19 real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test for SARS-CoV-2 within seven days of their flight; the mode of the test has to have been either an oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal swab. As per the guidelines, children under 12 years of age will not require the COVID-19 RT-PCR test. Additionally, Antigua and Barbuda continue to come under a regional travel bubble which includes destinations like St. Lucia, Grenada, Barbados and Dominica.
