Travel Time Between Sharjah and Dubai Reduced – Road & Bridge Upgrades Unveiled

Those driving from Sharjah to Dubai will find that travel time has been reduced thanks to the completion of road and bridge upgrades by Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority. This was put in the spotlight on the Time Out Dubai website on 13th June 2023 which revealed that there had been upgrades to Al Nahda Bridge and Al Ittihad Road. Additionally, a lane was added near the Al Khan exit, while the opening of a 600-metre lane linked to the Khulafa Al Rashideen Bridge was part of this initiative as well.

These road developments are expected to ease traffic and congestion between Sharjah and Dubai and reduce travel time by 10 minutes too. This will no doubt prove beneficial for those driving to Dubai be it for business or holidays at properties like Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites; those travelling by car or taxi will find such a Palm Jumeirah hotel easily accessible as well. With the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai having also announced the development of several new roads, driving to this cosmopolitan emirate is going to be easier than ever.
