Travel to Oman gets easier with more restrictions relaxed – Travel to Oman with ease

As the world begins to open up further and reduce the COVID-19 travel boundaries, so does Oman. Travel procedures at the airport are beginning to go back to pre-pandemic normalcy levels. Travellers are required to submit a report that stated that they have received both doses of the vaccine and a negative PCR upon arrival or within 24 hours of arrival in the country.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) also cancelled the previously mandatory requirement of filling out the online form regarding health before arrival in the country. The relaxing of COVID-19 measures will encourage international travellers to visit the sultanate with no hesitation. This will allow hotels in Muscat, the likes of Avani Muscat Hotel to see a better flow of tourists in and out of the hotel. It is said that in future, they are hoping to cancel the submission of PCR reports on arrival as well.
