Yoga enthusiasts from around the world always head to Bali for their yoga retreat. The 1st to 7th of October, the Yoga Pranala Retreat begins at 3pm on Sunday and ends at 1 pm on Monday. This retreat features a combination of traditional yoga which includes chanting, mantra, mudra, postures, self-healing techniques and pranayama; all which aid in purifying yourself. One of the purification rituals include a visit to Tirta Empul temple which translates to crystal clear stream and plays a significant role in Balinese religious ceremonies. Yoga students will also visit the Gunung Kawi Temple and take part in a fire purification ritual. In Bali, luxury villas are abundant and those staying at properties such as Alila Villas Uluwatu, a short distance from the venue, Ananda Cottages. The retreat also includes a batik making class where students will learn the art of this craft.
