The beautiful island of Bali has seen a large influx of visitors from European nations. So far, 2017 has seen more than half a million European tourists, which is an increase of more than twenty percent from the previous year. Many Uluwatu hotels have also experienced high amounts of bookings, with examples like Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort. Experts have attributed this to the fact that many European airlines now offer direct flights to Bali, which makes it very convenient for visitors. Bali is also reputed as being a very safe destination to travel to, which is further incentive for Europeans seeking a place of political stability and social peace. The influx of tourists has been so remarkable that officials are recommending that another airport be built in the north of Bali to accommodate increasing numbers of tourists.
