The Travel and Tourism Fair in Sri Lanka was held for the 8th consecutive time on 4th and 5th of May 2018 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre. It was a unique platform for entrepreneurs in the industry to expand connections with all stakeholders in mainstream tourism. Those who attended the event found a variety of Colombo hotels the likes of Cinnamon Grand Colombo in close proximity to the venue. The event represented more than 250 exhibitors and the new entrants to the industry got an opportunity to meet many industry veterans. In addition, both the tourists and locals were able to gather more information about a wide array of historical and cultural attractions in Sri Lanka. Travel & Tourism Fair 2018 concluded successfully paving more exposure to Sri Lanka’s mainstream tourism.
