The successfully concluded Travel Trade Maldives 2019 gave participants a chance to network and conduct business with leading names in the hospitality and travel industries. Held from 11th to 13th June 2019, this event attracted not just resort and hotels chains, but government agencies, travel agents, airlines and industry service providers too. Now in its third year, Travel Trade Maldives also featured the TTM Travel Summit which gave those connected to the industry a chance to discuss and share ideas regarding tourism in the Maldives and its future.

The country has become a very popular tourist destination with travellers in search of the best Maldives resort be it for a family or romantic getaway. Island resorts the likes of Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon are amongst the available options and Travel Trade Maldives hopes to encourage tourists in order to reach two million arrivals in 2020.
