Travelizgo, the super app announced its partnership with the Sukjaya Smart Travel Project which aims to promote sustainable digital tourism in Thailand. They will create digital assets using blockchain technology for tourists to keep as souvenirs. The collaboration between the government, businessmen, entrepreneurs and the private sector will help extend the project to more areas on the island. Currently, the project is launched in Bangkok, Phuket, Rayong, Chiang Mai, and Khon Kaen.
Rare pieces of Nong Sukjai were placed in the main Songkran tourist attractions using this new technology, including the Nimmanhaemin Road in Chiang Mai. The province attracts many tourists for its vibrant culture and friendly neighbourhood. Tourists can find accommodation at any Chiang Mai hotel including the popular Anantara Chiang Mai Resort for a relaxing stay away from the busy metropolises.
