The UAE is experiencing an increase in arrivals with its current cruise season and according to the AD Ports Group, in January this year, the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal ports welcomed more than 130,000 visitors. This was highlighted on The National news website on 1st March 2023 which revealed that around 88,000 arrivals were recorded at Zayed Port and over 42,000 visitors at Sir Bani Yas Island; incidentally, at the time, this marked the highest number of international cruise passengers in Abu Dhabi over the last five years for any month.
Sir Bani Yas Island continues to be a popular destination for cruise lines to stop over during a voyage from or to the UAE. This destination also provides an ideal choice for those looking to get away from it all amidst the comforts of a luxury resort; Abu Dhabi provides such holidays at properties here including Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Yamm Villa Resort where guests can also enjoy adventures at the Arabian Wildlife Park along with exciting outdoor activities.
