Travelling to Thailand Has Gotten Easier – Test & Go Programme Relaunched

Thailand introduced a revised Test & Go programme which took effect on the 1st of February 2022 to resume tourist arrivals without hassle. This entitled fully vaccinated visitors to access the country without facing a quarantine process. Adding revisions to the previous Test & Go initiative, Thailand has implemented a convenient set of rules which makes life easier for both the country and its visitors.

For those planning to stay at a Phuket or Koh Samui resort including properties like the SHA Extra+ certified Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort, there are certain requirements for entry into the country. For example, one will need proof of booking at a certified hotel or resort for the first and fifth days of the visit; as all tourists are required to do a PCR test on the first and fifth days, this is crucial. However, guests are free to travel about during this period, given that they activate a recommended app that allows Thailand authorities to track their movements. For those longing for some fun in the sun, the pathway is now clear to access Thailand, regardless of which country they might be from.
