Tunisia eases restrictions for vaccinated holidaymakers – Hassle-free travel plans

According to the latest information from the Tunisian tourism authorities, vaccinated holidaymakers from any destination get absolute freedom while they are travelling around in Tunisia. The government has decided to exempt the fully vaccinated travellers from the mandatory need to present a negative PCR test report upon arrival. They now only need to be taken 72 hours prior to arrival. Children under 12 years (even though they are not vaccinated) will also be exempted, as per the new arrangements.

Every Tunis hotel the likes of The Residence Tunis has been mostly serving domestic travellers, and believe these reduced restrictions will motivate foreign travellers to come to Tunisia with their loved ones. The government has also declared that although they removed certain restrictions, they can be implemented again depending on the situation of the pandemic. Random PCR tests will also be carried out in different parts by the public health officials to monitor the ongoing situation.
