A popular holiday destination, Tunisia saw an increase in arrivals last year which propelled its tourism earnings. By the end of November 2024, the country had recorded more than $2.2 billion in revenue from tourism for the year, offering a vital boost to the local economy as well. At the time, according to the National Tourism Office, Tunisia had welcomed around 9.9 million global travellers and this figure is expected to exceed 10 million when the full arrivals figure for 2024 is released.
The country will look to capitalise on the encouraging momentum of 2024 to propel tourism in 2025 to greater heights and draw more visitors in search of the best resorts in Tunisia and diverse experiences. Such ideal properties include The Residence Tunis where travellers can enjoy coastal getaways along with the chance to explore key attractions like the ruins of Carthage and the Medina of Tunis.
