UAE to See a Continued Increase in Arrivals – Positive Signs of Tourism Growth

The tourism industry in UAE has shown a remarkable recovery since the pandemic with arrivals expected to keep rising over the next five years. As highlighted on the Gulf Today news website on 11th April 2023, it’s forecasted that international tourists in the UAE will increase by 11.4 million between 2023 and 2028; it was further revealed that in 2028, arrivals are expected to reach 27.26 million. According to the Department of Culture and Tourism, in 2022, 4.1 million visitors were welcomed in hotels and resorts in Abu Dhabi which was a 24% increase when compared to 2021.
