UAE to Strengthen Ties with BRICS Nations: Entering a New Age of Travel and Tourism
The UAE strongly expressed its commitment to improving cooperation with BRICS nations at the recently held BRICS tourism forum in Moscow. The Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Emirates Tourism Council Abdullah Bin Touq Al Marri led the UAE delegation, expressing interest in “continuing our work with our BRICS partners to develop a resilient and sustainable tourism industry”.
The Minister also stated that the UAE has plans to improve air connectivity and infrastructure, embrace new technologies and digital transformations, and leverage the strategic location of the UAE and member countries to provide a unique tourism experience for international travellers.
The UAE’s tourism sector is already showing positive signs for the future with significant improvements in tourism numbers and statistics from 2023. This also indicates that the country has the right foundation on which it can build, offering tourists several unique experiences as well as luxury hotels in UAE for accommodation, provided by renowned brands like Avani Hotels & Resorts.
