Ubud Writers & Readers Festival

The annually held Ubud Writers & Readers Festival will kick start on the 28th of October 2015 and is scheduled to take place till the 1st of November. Every year literary workshops, special events, book launches and various youth programmes are a part of the schedule of the event. The festival is a perfect excuse for some to tour the beautiful destination and when in search of accommodation, they could consider a stay at one of the Bali spa resorts such as the renowned COMO Shambhala Estate, Bali which is located within close proximity to the venue’s workshops and panel discussions. Those who attended the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival are welcomed with a traditional Bali dance performance. The theme for this year was “17,000 Islands of Imagination” and world renowned authors & speakers will be part of the event. This year over 170+ writers are expected to attend the event.
