Colombo puts business in the spotlight

Sri Lanka is gearing up to host a busy season of business events, with trade shows and conferences lined up throughout the final months of 2026. With Colombo steadily growing its reputation as a centre point for networking and commercial opportunities, the upcoming events are expected to attract business travellers from across the region.

Events lined up include the International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ICESB), which will be held in October, with November featuring the International Conference on Business Innovation and Strategic Leadership (ICBISL), among others.

December brings the International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Leadership (ICABML), and the International Conference on Advances in Science Engineering and Business Management (ICASEBM).

With Colombo’s event calendar gaining momentum, venues such as Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams add to the city’s appeal, with business travellers finding convenient accommodation at 5-star hotels in Colombo, with easy access to key commercial venues.
