Vanuatu is an archipelago that consists of 83 small islands. The most fascinating thing about this cluster of small islands is its people! Those of various cultures and ethnics reside here in peace and harmony. What’s more interesting is that its residents speak more than 100 languages! With a multicultural society such as this, Vanuatu celebrates a Unity Day to highlight the collaboration of various ethnics here.

The event is usually held at Port Vila on the 29th of November each year. Vanuatu’s people from across the islands come to one point for the colourful festivities. The various cultures are displayed with wonderful performances in glorious costumes depicting uniqueness. Even tourists from nearby Vanuatu resorts for families the likes of Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu, for instance, visit the capital to get a glimpse! The displays are certainly worth seeing on your vacation to Vanuatu.
