Vietnam Eyes Tourism Reform – Improvements to be Made Soon

Vietnam’s tourism industry is at its peak and is becoming one of the major sources of income to the country. Figures show that over 13 million tourists visited Vietnam last year allowing the country an income of over 500 million Vietnamese Dong! Over the last decade, the tourism industry has been rapidly growing while revenue has increased by 9 times.

With all these growth concerns rose that the industry will also have to evolve to match the rising demand. The Politburo is a strategy recently introduced for the development of the tourism industry and to make sure it turns out to be a main income bringer to the country. Some issues they hope to address are the overcrowded airports, the infrastructure and the unavailability of the human resource. With the project kicking off, hotels like Anantara Hoi An Resort and every other Hoi An hotel will be benefited.
