Vietnam Prepares for Tourism Industry Growth – Health Protocols Closely Followed

The tourism industry in Vietnam is showing positive signs for growth as the country prepares for the post-COVID-19 era. This was highlighted in an online article published on 22nd January 2021 by The Star Online. This optimistic outlook was given by international and local tourism industry leaders who met in an RMIT University-organised roundtable discussion on 20th January 2021.

Amongst the factors highlighted was that the country is successfully controlling the spread of COVID-19; this has led to new opportunities including creating new tourism products, investing in domestic travel and implementing a smart tourism project. The domestic tourism market has been one of the key growth areas and it will be hoped that international travellers will soon be able to enter the country as well. Accommodation providers are also well prepared; be it at a hotel in Hanoi or a resort Mui Ne has to offer such as Anantara Mui Ne Resort, the needed hygiene and health guidelines are in place.
