With the first two confirmed cases of COVID 19 infection in Vietnam on the 23rd of January, the tourism sector of the country faced a dramatic drop as per the official reports. Almost every resort in Mui Ne and other tourist-friendly regions had felt this impact severely and this is the same case when it came to the industry as a whole too.

There were many cancellations of hotel bookings and tourist attractions in the country had very low foreign visitors during the time period that just passed. But, with all the reactive and proactive measures taken by hotels the likes of Anantara Mui Ne Resort individually, together with the authorities, the situation has now seen a positive change. More tourists have started arriving in the country and they are given masks and safety brochures when they travel to popular attractions in the country.
