Although the number of Vietnamese visitors to other regional markets the likes of Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia has increased every year, this same effect vice-versa has not been reported, revealing a negative side of the Vietnamese tourism strategy. According to Mui Ne Resort owners, they experience a drastic decline in the arrival of tourists from ASEAN countries to their resorts and firmly believe that marketing and promotion campaigns by the Tourism will help them overcome this challenge to a greater extent.
ASEAN, as per the experts too, is a good source market for a large number of visitors which accounts for more than 8.5% of the world population. Proper attention and strategy formulation to attract this great market to Vietnam have now been the need of the hour and it is expected that this will provide a good time for properties the likes of Anantara Mui Ne Resort in terms of more reservations from ASEAN visitors.
