Visa on Arrival Option Available in Sri Lanka

Making it Easier Than Ever to Visit

In a positive move for tourism, Sri Lanka resumed offering visas on arrival for international travellers from February 2022. Tourists from most countries can now get a visa via the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) facility at the airport after they land. This option was put in place to cater to those who did not have time to apply for Electronic Travel Authorisation online before they travelled to the island.

Such a move will make visiting this popular Asian destination even more attractive combined with the fact that fully vaccinated travellers can enjoy quarantine-free entry. Even those not fully vaccinated can look forward to relative freedom at designated Level 1 “Safe & Secure” certified hotels where they can move within a secure bio bubble. Those in search of such an Ayurveda hotel Sri Lanka has to offer can consider the likes of Heritance Ayurveda which has stringent health protocols in place while offering authentic wellness rituals and treatments.
